Intuitive reader Holly Scalmanini

In an intuitive reading with me, I am able to intuitively see personality traits and habitual tendencies unique to you. Generally, the first thing I see in a reading is your Five Element constitution. I also see how you relate to life and your current life circumstances. I am able to identify areas of disease in your body, pinpoint the root causes of the disease, and give practical advice for ways to work with and heal your body.

Your body doesn’t lie. The health and disease in your body tells a story about you, your life, and your deep inner struggles. I am here to give a voice to that deeper story wanting to be told. People who are drawn to schedule a reading with me often feel stuck in life and in health. The intention that I set before each reading is to help give you clarity around how you have become stuck, how to work with the stuck-time, and how to move forward in life.

I lean heavily on my background and education as a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. I have found the Five Elements of Chinese medicine to be illuminating and profound in its ability to help us understand ourselves and our health.

I love helping people who don’t understand what is causing disease in their bodies. I particularly like working with people who have diseases like adrenal fatigue, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, thyroid disorders, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, autoimmune disorders, digestive disorders, insomnia, and others where the origin of the disease is unknown and there is no clear path to alleviating the symptoms.

In my own life, I have worked with adrenal fatigue, anxiety, gallbladder inflammation and insomnia for much of my adult life. I have found healing from the theories inherent in the Five Elements of Chinese medicine as well as cultivating a deep sense of acceptance for myself just as I am, and acceptance of life just as it is. When we can let go of how we think we should be and find contentment in ourselves just as we are, we begin to feel at home in our bodies.

About my intuitive abilities…

Growing up with a mom who was a yoga and meditation teacher, I was exposed to all kinds of different things as a young child. Reflexology, homeopathy, healthy food, and herbal supplements were a part of my everyday life. I was inducted into Transcendental Meditation at the age of 5. My mom supported and encouraged my intuitive abilities at a young age because she had such a strong intuition herself. She has a journal entry from when I was four years old which says, “she seems to intuitively know what I’m thinking many times and says ‘she hears it in her mind.”

My career in the healing arts began in 1994 at the age of 22 when I took a job as Physical Therapist Aide. Over the years, I went on to become a Certified MassageTherapist, Iyengar yoga teacher, and Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College. During my time in the healing arts, I always picked things up from people intuitively and loved bringing to light what was once hidden.

I began giving intuitive readings in 2009. Since then, I have worked with thousands of people helping them gain deeper understanding of themselves, their diseases, and how to move forward in health and in life.
